A unique setting for special ladies, Hair Extension Associates, an elegant and private salon catering exclusively to women with hair loss challenges.

In July 1995, Dawn Harrison, owner of Hair Extension Associates, realized her life mission, which is to help people experiencing hair loss.  She is a seasoned veteran in the field of cosmetology since 1978 and a hair extension specialist since 1987.  Dawn has decided to devote her career to helping women overcome the devastating effects of hereditary and medically related hair loss.  “It’s the most rewarding feeling,” Dawn says, “giving a woman a completely natural looking head of hair again.”

As a graduate of the Hair Development Center in Minneapolis, Minn., Dawn understands the importance of listening to her clients’ needs as well as possessing up-to-date knowledge and expertise.  These qualities are necessary to be able to custom design, fabricate and fit a hair prosthesis (replacement hair system) for every situation, no matter how complex or unique the situation.

Dawn volunteers for the Look Good, Feel Better Organization, the American Cancer Society and the National Alopecia Areata Foundation.  She realizes the vast need for her services in the community and wishes to provide our citizens with non-biased information on treatments and options for women and children suffering with hair loss.  Dawn has worked and resided in North County for over nine years.
