1. Complete loosening of hair addition –generally caused by not pressing grafted hair addition against head on a daily basis.
2. Temporary hair loss at edges of hair addition- caused by excessive and repeated tugging and/or pulling on.
3. Grafted hair addition without supporting edges with ones hand, OR, caused by catching the brush, comb, fingers, sunglasses or hair accessories at the edge of grafted hair addition, OR, caused by careless, rough or hurried removal of tangles in the ends of hair, resulting in a pulling effect at root area of client’s hair where grafted hair addition is attached.
4. Temporary Hair Loss Underneath grafted hair addition-caused by continual pulling, not pressing gently daily, rough tangle removal, rough shampooing techniques, OR, if during removal of grafted hair addition, either salon stylist or client attempts to comb thru adhesive that has not completely “softened” to a gel like state. (Example, like honey, only then should combing take place.)
5. Attempting to comb through cured adhesive-can cause root tension that in some individuals is suspected to have weakened hair roots, may cause more than average amount of hair to release and become detached from scalp. Clients should not have a removal service performed if hair addition has been attached for less than 5 weeks, 6-8 weeks is the most preferred amount of time to wear Invisible Hair™ to encourage the safest most comfortable removal.
6. Soreness or sensitivity on scalp in areas where grafted hair addition are applied- caused by too much tension being applied by stylist to client’s hair during application.
7. Sensitivity to removing solutions or grafting adhesive in very rare occurrences- some individuals may experience pinkness, heat or itching. A 24-hour patch test is required by manufacturer of grafting adhesive and manufacturer of removing solution.
